My Hand

WIP limits that feel like playing a hand

My Hand is the Brainloot wedge for game teams: pull a few cards from the board, protect focus, and ship. Pair with Focus Mode and Unity Scene pins when you need quiet editor time.

What sits around Hand

Why WIP limits matter for game teams

Production boards sprawl across art, audio, design, and engineering. A wider kanban does not create focus. My Hand forces a small active set so makers stop thrashing across twenty tickets.

XP and card chrome make finishing feel tangible without turning the product into a toy. The backlog stays visible. It just stops being the thing you stare at all day.

Draw, ship, draw again

You do not mark the whole milestone as in progress. You pull a Hand, close those cards, then refill. Reviews and Discord pings have somewhere to land without opening five more cards. That is the daily loop in game-dev task management.

Hand, Focus, Scene

Enter Focus Mode for a full-screen Hand, or jump a Scene-pinned card from the Unity Bridge. The web board remains the system of record for the guild.

FAQ

What is My Hand?
My Hand is a small set of active cards pulled from your board. WIP limits keep focus on the next few ships instead of an infinite backlog.
How many cards should be in Hand?
Enough that you can name them in a stand-up. For most makers that is three to five. If art, design, and engineering each hold twenty actives, you do not have a Hand. You have a museum.
Does Hand work with Unity?
Yes. Cards in Hand can carry Scene pins so you open the linked GameObject from the Unity Bridge while you work.
